NSTS travel agency and English Language School located in Malta is seeking to recruit system administrator with immediate effect.

NSTS manages its diverse travel and tourism services on an advanced WAN platform that operates under different operating systems. It requires a fully qualified Systems Administrator to manage both development and day-to day functions and maintenance.

In addition to possessing appropriate qualifications and a good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems for user support, the candidate must understand the Windows infrastructure to install, configure and maintain Windows 2000/2003 Servers/ Network services, as well as a suite of UNIX operating systems ( FreeBSD and Linux).

The Administrator shall manage LAN, Wi-Fi ( both local and wide-range), services as Antivirus, Antispam, back-up and recovery, monitor servers performance and security. He/she should possess basic knowledge and skills in PBX-systems and script-programming ( Windows/Linux).

The selected person must provide technical support for both software (including FreeRadius billing system, MS SQL server, Lotus Domino/Sendmail) and hardware, must maintain up-to-date documentation for all systems for which responsibility is assigned and must evaluate new technologies and develop long-term solutions.
